The Arrive Alive website received the following email reporting reckless driving:
I would like to report an incident. On the 8th April at 7.55am I was driving on Clarence Drive heading towards Gordon’s Bay from Kleinmond. A Mazda CA 767371 passed me on a double white line on a bend. I hooted at him. He replied with expressive hand gestures out of his window.
He then proceeded to overtake another car, again on a double white line on a bend. There was a car approaching from the opposite direction which he missed within seconds. This is very dangerous, putting the lives of innocent people at risk. I attach a photo which a passenger in my car took. I certainly hope you can issue home with a hefty fine. Thank you.
Overtaking across barrier lines lead to head-on crashes! Think when you Drive! https://t.co/z55Iz1s7Fq #ArriveAlive #RoadSafety @WCGovSafelyHome @TrafficRTMC pic.twitter.com/qjwbQhEm1W
