A 55-year-old man was injured after his vehicle overturned following a motor vehicle collision on the R102 in the vicinity of the Verulam main intersection a short while ago.
At approximately 17:37 RUSA Members arrived at the scene and found a Fiat Uno lying on its roof. The driver of the vehicle was seated next to his vehicle bleeding from an injury to his head. He was treated on scene by Medics before being transported to Osindisweni Hospital by ambulance.
The Fiat Uno was traveling south towards Verulam from Tongaat when a Toyota Hiace which was turning into Verulam from the R102 knocked into the side of the light motor vehicle causing it to overturn.
The occupants of the Toyota Hiace taxi were not injured.
