A woman, believed to be in her 30s, was left seriously injured this afternoon when she lost control of her vehicle, causing it to roll off the R59 in Redan.
ER24 personnel arrived on the scene at 13h43 to find the light motor vehicle stationed on its right side. The woman had already been pulled from the vehicle by bystanders and was now seated next to the vehicle.
ER24 medics assessed the woman and found that she had sustained numerous injuries and was in a serious condition.
The woman was treated for her injuries and provided with pain-relief medication before she was transported to Mediclinic Vereeniging for further treatment.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
