Six suspected house robbers arrested in Worcester

Worcester – Alert SAPS members arrested six suspected house robbers in Worcester early this morning during routine patrols in the area.

On 25 May 2019 at about 04:10, the six suspects aged between 20 and 58 were arrested on the R60-Robertson Road, and are detained on a Stellenbosch case of house robbery reported earlier this month.

The suspects are believed to be involved in numerous house robberies all over the Winelands Cluster.

They were found in possession of implements to break into houses. Their vehicle, a Mazda Drifter double cab bakkie was also seized by SAPS.

They are due to appear in the Worcester Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 27 May 2019 on a charge of house robbery.
