On 14 June 2018 at about 23:59, members attached to the Provincial Intervention Unit in Khayelitsha executed search and seizure operation at a premises in Parow Street, Parow.
The operation was successful and members found 371 mandrax tablets, seized 250 units of under sized crayfish tails and an undisclosed amount of cash. A 58-year-old man his 31-year-old wife and a 32-year-old friend were arrested.
All of them will be charged for dealing in mandrax tablets and Contravention of the Sea Fisheries Marine Act. Once charged they will appear in the Bellville Magistrates Court on the mentioned charges.
