MTHATHA – Coffee Bay Detectives and Vispol members conducted Stabilization operations last night and managed to arrest a 34-year-old man after he was found in possession of suspected stolen property including tyres, 5 gas cylinders and empty petrol containers at Germiston locality Mthonjana A/A in Hole in the Wall. All the items were linked to June and July 2019 cases as identified by complainants. Two motor vehicles which is a Gwam bakkie linked to a Madeira case of May 2019 and an Isuzu bakkie with Humewood case of May 2019 were also confiscated from him. He will be caused to appear before Mqanduli Magistrate’s Court soon facing a charge of possession of suspected stolen property and two charges of possession of suspected stolen motor vehicles. He will be profiled to establish if he can be linked to other crimes.
