The Non-Profit Organisation, the Qhubeka World Vision in partnership with the South African Police Service have donated 350 bicycles to Zava High School learners at Nwanarhanga village and Sasekani high school situated at Mphagani village.
Each school received 175 bicycles including the three police members attached to Social crime prevention. Captain Maraba, Warrant Officer Rikhotso and Sergeant Seko were the recipients of the bicycles.
The Station communication officer, Constable Ridgewell Rikhotso addressed learners about the following topics:
* Drugs and alcohol abuse.
* Child abuse.
* Encouraged learners to look after the bicycles and utilise them for school purposes.
The event was supported by other stakeholders that included Community Policing Forum (CPF), School Governing Body (SGB), Educators and the Y-COP.
