Today, the MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison, Bheki Ntuli attended the memorial service of the six people killed in a road crash where a Toyota Quantum they were travelling in experienced brake failure and subsequently rolled down the valley. The memorial service was held at KwaNyuswa outside of Pinetown.
MEC Ntuli was accompanied by Cllr
PS Mncube (from the Mayor’s office), Councillor for Ward 103, Cllr M Sibisi, SANTACO & Kwanabuco representatives, members of the interfaith and other stakeholders to convey their condolences to the families of the deceased.
After the memorial service had concluded, MEC Ntuli together with the councillors, stakeholders and interfaith members met with the families to convey personal condolences and iron out all logistics regarding funeral arrangements.
