This morning some local Umkomaas hunters discovered a car at the bottom of the Umkomaas river bridge and notified the authorities.
The fire department, saps search and rescue and medivac were called out.
The car was located and the driver was declared deceased by medivac ambulance services. The fire dept extricated and assisted saps with body retrieval.
To all the other services who attended and the above mentioned well done to all, great teamwork.
