A successfully combined intelligence-driven operation by the Cluster Task team, Crime Intelligence and members of the Burgersdorp Visible Policing made the arrest of a 34-year-old female at Burgersdorp possible.
On 9 November 2019, at 19:30 the team proceeded to an identified house at main Street Mzamomhle locality where the house was searched.
55 Tablets of mandrax in different sizes, as well as four bags containing crystal meth and cash, was found in the top drawer of the chest of drawers in the main bedroom and others hidden in the sofa. The 34-year-old female was arrested for dealing in drugs with an estimated street value of R9556-70.
The acting Cluster Commander Col Mpho Rabela commended the efforts of the combined forces in achieving the success and the community for coming forward with positive information.
