Baby monkey rescued in Verulam

A team from Monkey Helpline is on-route to the Reaction Unit South Africa Headquarters to pick up a baby Vervet Monkey that was found abandoned in Verulam – KZN a short while ago (Sunday)

The baby monkey was found clinging to a pole on Inca Drive – Everest Heights by a resident. The monkey was taken indoors and Monkey Helpline was contacted for assistance.

Reaction Officers currently have the baby in their care.
