The Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Robinson R44 helicopter took off from Verulam with head of traffic for East Coast Radio, Jayshree Parasuramen to provide listeners with an eye in the sky report on traffic volumes passing through the tolls in KZN today (Friday).
The live broadcast was conducted while Parasuramen and the Pilot In Command, Prem Balram flew over the N2 and N3 as well as the coast. No serious incidents were reported however traffic delays were noticed on some of the national roads.
Traffic entering KZN is expected to increase drastically as the holiday season begins.
