LEBOWAKGOMO – The South African Police Service in Lebowakgomo outside Polokwane are investigating two cases of missing persons.
It is alleged that on Monday, 13 January 2020 at about 18:15, the grandmother of the missing child, Lethabo Mashiane (02), left the child at home in Ga-Chuene- Marulaneng village with her husband. Later on, she received a call to return home as the child was nowhere to be found. They searched for the child together with members of the community until 20:00 unsuccessfully.
Meanwhile, in another incident, a 19-year-old woman, Boitumelo Mami Mphahlele from Seleteng village, Ga-Mphahlele was allegedly, last seen by her father on 11 January 2020 at about 22:00, when she went to sleep. The family noticed that she was not at home the following day 12 January 2020.
The Police were notified about the two incidents and started with the search operations in and around the area with no success.
The search operations and investigations are still continuing.
