The Deputy Minister of Police, Hon Cassel Mathale in the company the MEC for Transport Safety and Liaison Me Nontobeko Vilakazi, the National Commissioner of Police, Lieutenant General Kehla Sitole, Deputy National Commissioner Lt Gen Sandisile Mfazi and the Provincial Commissioner Lt General Risimati Peter Shivuri, addressed the joint parade in Kimberley as the law enforcement agencies geared themselves to perform Covid-19 operational duties.
During his address, the deputy Minister of Police applauded the law enforcement agencies for braving the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic by ensuring that they carry out the instructions of the Commander in Chief, President Cyril Ramaphosa. And continued to encourage the members on parade to take precautionary measures by continuing to wear their protective masks, maintain social contact, washing hands or hands sanitizing. Let’s keep on policing malls, shopping centres and ensure that people are safe as they are out there to receive grants payment from SASSA.
The Deputy Minister concluded his tour by visiting a road block on the N8, grants pay-out centres in Kimberley CBD and parade of SAPS and SANDF members in Galeshewe.
