CAT rugged phones can be cleaned repeatedly with soaps, sanitizers, chemicals, bleach and alcohol
Luckily, all Cat phones are rugged and can be cleaned effectively, at the same time as you wash your hands. Simply lather the phone itself with warm soapy water, rinse it under the tap or submerge it entirely in soapy water.
If your phone is in need of a deeper clean, it has been tested to survive. You can apply anti-bacterial spray, or wipe all external surfaces of the phone using alcohol wipes widely available, again ensuring all cables are unplugged and all ports are firmly closed. You can use a soft, lint-free cloth or towels, paper towels, disinfecting wipes or similar items without worrying about excessive wiping causing damage to the screen or any other part of the phone.
For a deep clean you can also bleach your Cat smartphone (not your Cat feature phone). Incorporate this with your household regime, for example when you bleach the kitchen sink, add your phone into the mix, again ensuring all cables are unplugged and all ports are firmly closed.
Germs can live on hard surfaces and transfer to your hands, as a general rule clean your Cat phone as often as your hands to avoid transferring germs between the two.
We interact with our mobile device thousands of times every day, and often press it to our faces, which means that any bacteria, virus or other germs that is on your phone could transfer to your skin.
Whether you’re concerned about coronavirus or just common flu and cold germs, regularly disinfecting your smartphone will help lower your overall risk of getting ill.
