Police seek the public’s assistance in identifying the body of a male that was found in the bushes near Perseverance in Despatch on Monday, 25 May 2020.
At around 22:00, police were summoned to a scene of a decomposed body of a man. It is alleged that a cattle herder stumbled across the body while he was herding cattle. It is also said that he thereafter walked to the police station to report the matter. The deceased was wearing a grey top with greenish stripes and a blue overall pants with reflective stripes. Police opened an inquest docket as no visible injuries could be identified.
