A 72-year-old insurance agent has become the latest victim of remote jamming in the Verulam – CBD a short while ago.
The victim arrived at the RUSA Headquarters seeking assistance after his vehicle failed to lock with the car remote. He returned to his vehicle a few minutes later to find his Dell laptop & a purple bag containing valuables missing. A blue bag containing insurance files was also taken.
Reaction Unit South Africa has responded to eight calls of remote jamming over the weekend.
In most cases, the crime was committed with a car-guard in the vicinity of the target vehicle.
