On Friday Evening at 9.35pm VEMA Paramedics received multiple calls for assistance for a vehicle that lost control and went down an embankment onto the railway lines on Inanda road in the vicinity of Mill Road. VEMA along with ER24 EMS (Pty) Ltd. quickly dispatched vehicles to the scene.
Once on scene initial reports came through that two people were in the vehicle while one was ejected. A large search of the area was conducted by multiple services but no person was found. The two people inside the vehicle were lucky to escape major injury and were transported in a stable condition to a nearby hospital for further care they required.
