WESTERN CAPE – In our pursuit to bring perpetrators of the law to book, members of the Anti-Gang Unit and Hermanus police conducted an intelligence-driven operation in Hawston during the early hours of yesterday morning. During searches at identified premises a total of three suspects aged 20, 32, and 35 were arrested for being in possession of an unlicensed firearm, ammunition, and mandrax.
Once charged, the suspects are due to make their court appearances to face the charges against them. Violent crimes are high on the priority list of the Western Cape police and we will continue to clamp down on the illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
