Seen in these pictures are Members of Reaction Unit South Africa rescuing a cow that was trapped between a wall and a broken-down vehicle.
Reaction Officers were dispatched to the call on Caper Crescent – Trenance Park and upon arrival found the animal trapped between the boundary wall and a white Toyota Corolla.
With no immediate response from animal welfare organisations in KwaZulu-Natal, Officers sought permission from the vehicle owner who consented to his vehicle being towed. The vehicle was eventually towed by a response bakkie & the animal was freed.
According to the owner of the animal, the cow had been missing for two days after it became separated from the herd.
