Early this morning members from Durban Search and Rescue Unit, Durban K9 Search and Rescue Unit and Metro Police Search and Rescue Unit responded to a call from Newark SAPS to search for a murder victim after the two arrested suspects pointed out an area in the Tugela river where they dumped the body of the 50-year-old victim from Doringkop in February this year.
His stolen vehicle was recovered which led to the arrest. K9 Lea was utilised to search the area without any success. A further search will be conducted as soon as more information is available.
