FREE STATE – On Monday 13 July 2020 at about 10:45, the Tactical Response Team (TRT) deployed in Thabo Mofutsanyana District followed up on positive information on the whereabouts of a vehicle with four male occupants who were spotted during an armed robbery that occurred in a retail store in Senekal. The information led to a house in Bafokeng Street, Bohlokong location in Bethlehem where a Silver VW Polo sedan with GP registration numbers was parked.
The police initiated the search and three big bags were found in the boot of the vehicle which contained a variety of clothing items, bags, wallets, and cellphones. The goods recovered are valued at about R260 000-00.
All four suspects were arrested, firearms were not found in their possession. The suspects aged between 32 and 45 will appear in court soon.
Investigation continues.
