Two people were killed last night when their light motor vehicle crashed into a pole and burst into flames on the M13 in Krugersdorp.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 20h20 to find the West Rand Fire Services already in attendance.
A smoldering light motor vehicle was found parked on the side of the road. Two bodies were found lying inside the car.
Medics assessed the patients and found that both had already succumbed to their injuries. Nothing could be done for them, and they were declared dead.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
