GAUTENG – A 27-year-old suspect is expected to appear briefly before Randburg magistrate court to face charges of possession of suspected drugs.
It is alleged on Tuesday, 28 July 2020, at 10hoo Crime Prevention and K9 unit members were doing patrols in Ferndale when they notice a suspect giving out cigarettes. Upon searching the suspect, they found him in possession of cigarettes and small wrapped green plastics. When they opened, they discovered powder suspected to be drugs. The suspect was immediately arrested. The suspect will be charged for being in possession of suspected drugs and contravention of the disaster management act.
