Nosipho Milazi (pictured) who left home two weeks ago contacted her mother yesterday (Thursday) claiming that she was held against her will in Inanda, KZN.
Milazi lived with her granny in Vanrova, Tongaat and took her clothing with her on the day she left. She was in the company of an unknown male believed to be her boyfriend.
Yesterday her mother received a call from a man stating that the teen had stolen his phone and he demanded payment of R1200 for her release. Nosipho spoke to her mother and denied the theft. She also informed her not to pay the money.
Her mum received a call from a second person today (Friday) stating that he had assisted Milazi to get away but asked for R900 for his role in rescuing her. She spoke to her mum and asked her to pay the money but she will not be present during the exchange.
She went on to explain that she will meet her mother after she pays the money. Nosipho did not sound as if she was under duress and it cannot be confirmed if she is attempting to extort money from her mother. There is a possibility that she is on drugs, however, this cannot be confirmed. Her mum is requesting assistance to locate her daughter.
