Two men were left critically injured this afternoon following a shooting incident in Alexandra.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 12h42 to find the City of Johannesburg EMS already in attendance.
On closer inspection, medics found the two patients in the Provincial ambulance being treated by medics.
On assessment, medics found that both men had sustained numerous gunshot wounds and were in a critical condition.
The men were treated and provided with advanced life support interventions before they were transported to a local hospital for further care.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
