A hardware store on Vincent Dickinson Road in Ndwedwe was robbed by three (3) armed men.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived at the business premises after receiving information regarding the robbery. It was established that the suspects entered the business and held up the owner and employees. Two suspects were armed with pistols while the third robber was in possession of either a rifle or shotgun.
The suspects stole an undisclosed amount of cash, cellphones and two Flash electricity and airtime dispensing machines. The robbers attempted to steal the owner’s Toyota Tazz but abandoned the theft and fled on foot.
Reaction Officers conducted an extensive search for the robbers however no arrests were made.
