Community asked to assist in locating missing persons

The Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offence Unit in Port Elizabeth is seeking the community’s assistance in tracing a 16-year-old teenager who went missing on Saturday, 03 October 2020.
It is alleged that on the mentioned date at about 12:50, Verushka Chante Nel left her house in Kelly Street in North End with two friends. They walked to the Pier 14 mall. According to her friends, Nel separated from them and they didn’t see her again.
Police are appealing to anyone who can assist in locating Verushka Nel to urgently contact D/Sgt Rodney Mtongana from PE FCS unit on 071 352 5211 or 041 4013000 or Crime Stop 08600 10111 or their nearest police station.
Detectives from the South African Police Service in Kwanobuhle are appealing to the community to assist them in locating a missing 20-year-old man.
Abongile Matinise was reported missing by his family at 16:00 on 06 October 2020. Matinise allegedly ran into a bush close to his home in 3rd Avenue, Kwanobuhle yesterday afternoon and has not returned home as yet.
