LIMPOPO – The South African Police Service in Lulekani outside Phalaborwa and Lebowakgomo outside Polokwane are investigating two cases of missing persons who disappeared separately.
It is alleged that Rhulani Ntimani aged 23 from Humulani Section in Lulekani, went missing on Monday 12 October 2020. The victim’s parents alleged that they left her at home when they were going to work, and when they came back, she was not home.
She left without informing anyone about her destination and since then, she never returned back home. The clothes she was wearing at the time of her disappearance are unknown.
Meanwhile, the Police in Lebowakgomo has launched a search operation for a missing man, Effort Makgatho aged 69 from Thamagane village in the Ga-Mphahlele area.
It is alleged that on 28 September 2020, his family went to visit him but he was not home, allegedly, the missing man who is mentally challenged was staying alone. Until to date, he is nowhere to be found.
The clothes he was wearing during his disappearance are not known.
The Police conducted separate search operations on both incidents at their relatives’ friends and the surrounding areas with no success.
