On Tuesday 17 November 2020, at about 16:45, members attached to Worcester SAPS Crime Prevention Unit were busy with intensive patrols in Riverview, Worcester when they saw a person running when he noticed the marked vehicle.
The members gave chase on foot and caught the suspect and found him in possession of 975 mandrax tablets to an estimated street value of R39 000. A 38-year-old male was arrested on charges of possession of drugs, and appeared in the Worcester Magistrate’s Court today, 18 November 2020.
