70-Year-old found deceased in Verulam

An elderly male who failed to answer his phone yesterday was found deceased in his home on Iron Street – Verulam.

The body of 70-year-old Ponanbalan Sagathevan also known as Jackson was discovered by his daughter after the door to his room was forced open. Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) was called to the residence by a family member. Sagathevan was an employee of Mall Cafe for the past 18 years and lived alone in a single room. He was last
seen yesterday afternoon.

Foul play is not suspected.
