The body of two (2) adults has been found deceased in a home in Brindhaven- Verulam a short while ago (Monday)
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call at approx 10:23 and upon arrival interviewed a domestic worker who explained that she arrived at the home at 08:00 this morning. She found a male lying on a couch and a female in the bedroom. Believing they were asleep, the domestic worker continued with her chores. She later realised that both the man and woman were deceased and raised the alarm.
According to neighbours, the deceased was a mother and her son. Reaction Officers were further informed that a male occupant of the house passed on over the weekend and his daughter is currently on a ventilator after she contracted Covid-19.
