On 30 November 2020, 18 shacks were burnt down in Khayelitsha, caused by burnt-out electrical wires. Mustadafin Foundation has been assisting those who have been displaced with hot meals. Today, 18 December 2020, Mustadafin also handed out blankets, vanity packs, clothing and linen.
“At Mustadafin it’s important to provide food and support for displaced families in our communities. We rely heavily on donations and are incredibly grateful for all the donations and support that we receive,” shares Ghairunisa Johnstone, director of Mustadafin Foundation.
