The missing child named Lindokuhle Msibi (5) were playing outside on 27 January 2021 at around 17:00 in the street at Mabena street, Mandela Ext 21, Etwatwa when the mother last saw him.
At about 19:00, she enquired in the area and could not find him. She contacted the father on 27 January 2021 at around 22:15 to establish if he knows about the child’s whereabouts, however, without success.
On 28 January 2021, at around 10:00, she reported the child missing at Etwatwa Police Station after the child could not be found. It is reported that the father today received a phone call from an unknown person who demanded R850 000 from the father to release the child.
