A man was robbed of his valuables including his firearm while seated in his vehicle on Gopalall Hurbans Road in Tongaat.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on the scene and were informed by the Mount Edgecombe resident that he and his daughter were parked in his Mercedes Benz SUV when they were approached by two unknown males who produced knives.
The suspects robbed him of his wallet containing cash, cellphone, and his firearm before they fled the scene on foot.
The victims were not injured.
Reaction Officers conducted an extensive search for the suspects however no arrests were made.
