Early this morning Mercy Wing 5 was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident involving two taxis on the R61 near Port Shepstone in KwaZulu-Natal.
It was reported that the occupants of the vehicles were school children. This fatal accident claimed the lives of three patients and leaving multiple patients critically injured.
One patient was airlifted in critical condition to Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family & friends of the deceased as well the patients & their families.
