Suspect arrested for drugs and ammunition in Kraaifontein

Kraaifontein community participating in partnership policing and ensuring that unlicensed ammunition and drugs are removed from the community.

On Tuesday, 30 March 2021, police members were conducting crime prevention patrols when they were stopped by members of the community who shared valuable information about a man who was selling drugs in Wallacedene, Kraaifontein. Police proceeded to the address where they conducted a search and found 184 Mandrax tablets, crystal methamphetamine, and ammunition.

A 39-year-old man was arrested and he will appear in court soon.
