Police in Mpumalanga have launched a manhunt for three suspects who escaped from lawful custody at Volksrust Magistrate’s Court after being brought in for their court appearance, yesterday, 19 April 2021.
Reports indicate that there were four suspects initially but one was later rearrested hence the manhunt for the three.
The other three suspects, 34-year-old Jima Dube, Sandile Gasa, aged 42 as well as 28-year-old Emmanuel Sibanda are still at large and police urge members of the public not to approach them as they are considered to be dangerous but rather notify police about their whereabouts.
Police cannot rule out the possibilities of adding more charges with regard to the injured members.
