Mopani District Commissioner reaches out to the bereaved family of youth project member

The warmth and kindness of members of the South African Police Service in Limpopo keep shining across the province during outreach programs conducted as part of their social responsibility to the community.

Today, on Thursday 22 April 2021, the Mopani District Commissioner Major General Maggie Mathebula accompanied by Lieutenant Colonel Jan Nkuna and the SAPS Mokwakwaila Social Crime Prevention Coordinator and Communication Officer, Sergeant Tinyiko Manganye, handed over groceries to the bereaved family of Kgatla from Mookgo Block 07 village whose 18-year-old daughter passed on last week of suspected food poisoning.

The deceased was a member of “Our life, Simple life” youth project founded by the District Commissioner herself who also plays a vital role in uplifting the youth in the fight against crime in the area.
