A man was killed after he was ejected from his vehicle that overturned multiple times on the M4 in the vicinity of Hilltop this morning (Sunday).
A member of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) was returning from a callout at approximately 04:49 when he noticed Emergency Services on scene. The Reaction Officer stopped to provide assistance.
It was established that one person had been killed after the red VW Golf he was travelling in overturned multiple times before coming to a stop at the foot of an embankment. The driver was ejected from the vehicle. He was examined by Paramedics from a private ambulance service who declared him deceased.
Circumstances leading up to the accident were not established.
