A 59-year-old female was injured after she was attacked by a dog on Caper Crescent in Trenance Park.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the scene. On arrival, it was established that the woman was attacked by the dog while she was walking through a shortcut near her residence. The dog was on an extended leash when it managed to attack her. She suffered bite wounds to her arm and leg.
The elderly female was transported to a local Doctor for medical attention.
