Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) are currently searching for armed robbery suspects who held up the owner of a butchery on Todd Street in the Verulam CBD a short while ago (Friday).
RUSA received a call at 18:39 from a female reporting the robbery. On arrival, Reaction Officers were informed that two gunmen approached the victim as he was walking towards his vehicle. They robbed him of an undisclosed amount of cash and his Samsung cellphone before they sped off in the white Toyota Corolla (registration unknown) which was parked on Ireland Street.
The victim was not injured.
