Makapanstad police request community assistance in locating a missing woman

Police in Makapanstad would like to request members of the community to assist in locating Monni Elsah Monyeki (29), of Lefatlheng Section, Mathibestad village near Makapanstad.

Monyeki was last seen on Saturday, 29 May 2021, at about 10:00, by her cousin, Letta Mapula Monyeki (52), when she allegedly went to the river to perform traditional rituals, but never returned home. According to information available at this stage, Monyeki was in the company of her boyfriend and her 15-year-old daughter.

At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a light purple jersey, sky blue skirt and dark brown headresss (doek) with pink circles and barefooted. Monyeki is medium build, short in height and has short black hair. Furthermore, she is light in complexion with sores around her neck.
