A 36-year-old suspect was arrested with a stolen vehicle in Durban. The suspect is appearing before the Durban Magistrates’ Court this morning for possession of suspected stolen property.
On Tuesday 08 June 2021, the Provincial Task Team police officers were patrolling along the Snell Parade in Durban when they received information of a suspected stolen vehicle around the vicinity. The members stopped the blue Audi and requested to check the vehicle. The vehicle was checked, and it was established that the vehicle was stolen. The investigation revealed that the vehicle was stolen in Gauteng. The suspect will be profiled to check if he is linked to other cases committed in the province.
