The mother of the victim alleges that she left her at home busy with homework on Tuesday, 08 June 2021 at about 14:00 when she departed to Kgapane location.
When she returned home in the evening, she discovered that Mapula left home without informing anyone about her destination and has since disappeared.
Police attempts to locate the victim at relatives and surrounding areas were not successful and her cellphone is on voicemail. The type of clothes the teenager was wearing at the time of her disappearance are unknown.
