IPSS Medical Rescue was on the apron earlier today, to receive a critical, pediatric cardiac patient, en route to Lenmed Ethekwini Private Hospital and Heart Centre.
The patient was flown in from Botswana, landing at King Shaka International, and was received by our Cardiac Intensive Care Ambulance. The patient will be received by a team of cardiac specialists at Lenmed Ethekwini, for life-saving surgery.
Well done to all involved in this mission. Wishing the young patient a safe surgery.
