The Joubertina SAPS are seeking the assistance of the community in tracking and tracing 20-year-old Mongezi De Wee who escaped from the Joubertina Court Cells today. Details of the escape are under investigation.
The accused was facing a charge of assault to cause grievous bodily harm which he allegedly committed during this month in Joubertina.
The incident took place around midday on 24 June 2021.
