Last night Police arrested a 37-year-old man in possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition at Teko Springs Village, Centane.
Police were busy with Operation Vuthu Hawe in their policing precinct doing stop and search and patrols. Police followed up on information they received about a suspecct who was in possession of a firearm in his shop. They proceeded to his shop and upon searching they found a revolver with two (02) rounds and one (1) 9mm live ammunition and a cartridge case of 9mm.
The suspect will appear at Centane Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 26 July 2021.
