Aberdeen detectives investigate culpable homicide

The South African Police Service in Aberdeen is investigating a case of Culpable Homicide after 31-year-old Tokelo Lekheagha was killed when a 37-year-old driver lost control of a blue Renault colerio motor vehicle and it overturned on the R 61 road, 15 kilometers from Aberdeen on Monday 02 August 2021 at 09.30.

Tokelo Lekheagha was declared dead on the scene by EMS Personnel.

The four (4) injured passengers, including the driver of the vehicle, were taken to Midlands hospital, Graaff-Reinet. Their ages range between 28 and 41.

The nature of their injuries is unknown.

A case of culpable homicide is currently under investigation.
