On 31 August 2021 at approximately 03:00, Dalasile SAPS responded to a murder incident in Casa a/a Mhlontlo locality, where a 47-year-old female succumbed to a gunshot wound to the head.
It is alleged that the deceased, her husband, and a child were sleeping in a rondavel when the door was kicked open by three masked unknown-armed males. The deceased was shot in the head and succumbed to the scene due to her injuries. The husband and child remained unharmed and the motive for the murder is unknown at this stage.
